Academy Lion's Basketball

The Academy Lion's represented themselves and the school well this year finishing 2nd overall in one of the toughest city leagues. Dominating play from all players resulted in a 7 -1 record advancing the Lions to the playoffs. The Lion's earned a first round bye allowing the team to rest and prepare for their Clarke Street rivals. The Lion's were unable to advance to the Championship game but salvaged the 2nd round loss in the consolation game for 3rd place. As luck would have it, standings were corrected based on season criteria and propelled the Lion's to a 2nd place finish in the league.
