Balance Literacy

A balanced literacy program involves teachers providing their learners with the balance of skills, strategies, and support they need to become independent readers and writers. Our program at the Academy of Learning and Leadership consists of the following components.

Math

Our mathematics instruction builds on ideas children already have about numbers and patterns to help them learn new mathematics ideas. Students learn problem-solving strategies and basic computational facts to develop their abilities to think mathematically. For more information about our Math Program click here.
