Who's Who at the Academy

Ann Andress

Director of Special Education
I am currently the Special Education Director here at the Academy. My daily duties range from supervising the special education teachers, meeting with the administration team, facilitating family team meetings, to teaching students. I am passionate about uncovering what each student needs in order to maximize their learning. Prior to coming to the Academy, I was a principal for another charter school and I spent several years teaching in residential treatment centers. I hold a Master's degree in education and licensure in Emotional Behavior Disorders and Learning Disabilities.

In my life outside of school I am a mom of a 9 year old little girl. We also enjoy camping and traveling not only around the state of Wisconsin, but visiting nice warm destinations like Florida and Mexico.
